Canyon Rims Recreation Area

There’s nothing but stellar red rock views to see here! Smack dab in-between Moab and Monticello, visitors can tour this vast area by a wide array of scenic overlooks, OHV trails, hiking and biking trails, and rock climbing.

Hole N’ The Rock

Hand carved and built home out of sandstone cliff by Albert Christensen. Began carving in 1940, moved into the home in 1952. Albert’s wife Gladys lived to enjoy the home until 1974. After the passing of both Albert and Gladys, the 5000 sq. ft. home was donated to the City of Moab and is now a destination center for touring.
